Christopher Tsai, founder of the company, has been a director and the President and Chief Investment Officer of the company since November 1997. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Tsai was an analyst in the equity research department at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Earlier, he was an apprentice at Tsai Management, Inc. (an investment firm founded by the late Gerald Tsai, Jr.), Gabelli Asset Management, and John A. Levin & Co., Inc. Mr. Tsai has been quoted in numerous business publications and has served as an expert consultant on equity securities to a prominent international law firm.

Aside from his professional career, Mr. Tsai has been a benefactor of a number of civic and charitable organizations.

Mr. Tsai received his B.A. degree in philosophy and international politics from Middlebury College, where he served as a Young Alumni Advisor.
